# One Page Love API — Terms of Use **Version:** Draft — 2026-04-18 **Contact:** Rob Hope — rob@onepagelove.com These terms govern use of the One Page Love API and the data it returns (the "Catalog"). The Catalog is hand-curated — every entry, taxonomy tag, and screenshot was produced by One Page Love. --- ## 1. Summary - **Individuals** can use the API for inspiration search, personal tooling, and AI-assisted generation. Attribution appreciated. - **Commercial AI training** requires a paid plan or custom license. - **You may not** republish the Catalog as a browsable or searchable interface that substitutes for onepagelove.com. The plans below are indicative. Contact us for Training or Enterprise pricing tailored to your use case. --- ## 2. Training and Enterprise plans will include the Cloudflare image-egress costs associated with bulk catalog pulls. > **Note on pricing shape for foundation-model buyers:** If you are training a large foundation model and need a one-time catalog license + incremental access, we do these as a custom license (back-catalog rights + ongoing additions). Subscription tiers are not the right shape for that deal — reach out directly. --- ## 3. What you may do With any paid plan (Pro, Training, Enterprise): - Query the API within your plan's rate limits. - Cache responses locally for the duration needed by your product. - Display screenshots and taxonomy data inside your own product, with attribution to One Page Love (e.g. a "Data by One Page Love" credit linking to onepagelove.com). - Use the data as input context for AI tools — prompts, retrieval, grounding. With Training or Enterprise plans, additionally: - Use the Catalog as training, fine-tuning, or evaluation data for AI/ML models. - Store derivative embeddings indefinitely. --- ## 4. What you may not do These restrictions apply to all plans, free and paid, unless explicitly varied in a custom license: 1. **No competing gallery.** You may not redistribute the Catalog — in whole or substantial part — as a browsable, searchable, or filterable interface that substitutes for One Page Love. Examples of prohibited products include: inspiration directories, "site of the day" publications, design-trend galleries, Framer/Webflow template marketplaces populated from our data, or anything that would lead a user to choose your product over onepagelove.com for the same purpose. 2. **No bulk redistribution.** You may not make the Catalog (or screenshots derived from it) available for download, export, or re-sale as a dataset. 3. **No republishing screenshots unchanged as gallery content.** Screenshots may be displayed alongside attribution in contextually relevant product surfaces (search results, comparison views, AI-generated suggestions). They may not be reposted as a feed of visual inspiration that mimics One Page Love. 4. **No stripping of attribution.** The `authors` field in responses credits the original designer/agency/studio. You may not remove this attribution when displaying data about an inspiration. 5. **No circumventing rate limits** by rotating keys, sharing keys, or distributing pulls across unauthorised identities. --- ## 5. AI training — specific terms If your plan includes AI training rights: - You may use the Catalog as input data for training, fine-tuning, embedding generation, retrieval indices, and model evaluation. - Models trained on the Catalog may be used in your own commercial products. - You may not redistribute the underlying Catalog data (screenshots or taxonomy) outside your organisation, even as training data, without a custom license. - If your model outputs include identifiable reproductions of specific catalog screenshots (e.g. a prompt returns a near-exact match), you must attribute One Page Love as the data source in the output or UI. For foundation-model training at scale, we expect to sign a custom license covering the use case, term, and indemnity — contact rob@onepagelove.com. --- ## 6. Attribution When you display Catalog data in a product surface (UI, AI output, dataset viewer), include visible attribution: > "Data from [One Page Love](https://onepagelove.com)" For AI-generated outputs where a specific inspiration is surfaced, include a link to the corresponding onepagelove.com page using the `slug` field (e.g. `https://onepagelove.com/{slug}`). --- ## 7. Data quality and availability The Catalog is a curated archive, not a live index. We do our best to keep data accurate, but: - Sites 10+ years old are auto-marked `offline` — screenshots and taxonomy are preserved, but `url` returns `null`. - The API is provided "as-is" with no SLA on free plans. Training and Enterprise plans include a negotiated SLA. - We reserve the right to correct, retag, or remove Catalog entries at any time. --- ## 8. Termination We may revoke API keys for any of the following: - Violating the "No Competing Gallery" clause (§4.1) — this is the line we will enforce most strictly. - Attempting to scrape onepagelove.com in parallel to the API (bypassing rate limits or terms). - Chargebacks, non-payment, or misrepresentation during signup. Revoked keys return HTTP 403 with `{ "error": "forbidden" }`. We will notify you by email at the address tied to the key before revocation, except where speed is required to protect the Catalog. --- ## 9. Changes to these terms These terms are versioned. Substantive changes are announced in the [changelog](https://api.onepagelove.com/docs/changelog.md) and via email to registered keys.
